· climbing rope,climbing accessories,mountaineering,outdoor activities

Going to the mountains with friends is always a good idea, especially if you are a climbing and hiking specialist. We all know that climbing is not as easy and simple, есspecially when we do not have the proper equipment and a couple of training that are basic for having strong arms. Climbing on steep slopes especially rocky is impossible if you don't have ropes suitable and professional designed for this kind of sport, so remember climbing safety is your responsibility and expert tips and advice are absolutely essential especially if you are a newbie in this sport.

When we are talking about climbing rope types I can say that there are two main types of ropes: dynamic and static.

climbing rope

DYNAMIC ROPES

These ropes are designed to somehow give great stretch and absorb the impact of the falling climber and the static ropes stretch very little making them great in some situations like lowering the injured climber. it is not recommended and its almost never good to use them for top roping or lead climbing.

So if you are looking for the dynamic rope, you will be able to choose between three choices: half, single and twin ropes.

HALF ROPES

These are my favorite kind of ropes and are best for trad climbing ice and mountaineering climbing.

Climbing with half ropes are supposed to be with two ropes. As we climb there is a clip to protect on the left and the other protection on the right. Doing this correctly allows us to climb parallel and straight reducing the drag on wandering routes.

SINGLE ROPES

These ropes are best for big wall, trad and sport climbing

Many climbers use the single ropes and they are meant to be used as one, and not with another rope. The single ropes are coming in different lengths and diameters making them good for many kinds of climbing disciplines.

CLIMBING ROPES DIAMETERS

Singe ropes with a diameter up to 9.4mm

Great ropes with very lightweight making them ideal for long multi-pitch climbs when there is the weight so important. But they are harder to handle and are less durable. Then we've got single ropes with diameters of 9.5 -9.9mm that generally are more skinny and durable and easy to handle.
